Spring 2023 Vigil - Day 35 Summary

Tuesday, March 28, 2023
Day 35 – 40 Days for Life
Tuesday in Passion Week

The highlight of the day was the presence of a group of six or seven from the St. Iranaeus Mission. They gathered for the final hour of the vigil, chatting and reciting prayers. They also received an impromptu dance performance from vigil regular and local homeless person Michel. Thanks to Arpad for coordinating their presence and Fr. Dupuis for the final blessing.

Daily figures: Thirteen different people attended the vigil today, logging in a total of twenty-six hours of praying/witnessing time for the protection of unborn life and the vulnerable of our society over the course of the full twelve hours of coverage.

P.S. The closing ceremony of the 40 Days for Life vigil will be held in Montreal on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 3 p.m., at the northwest corner of Berri and Sainte-Catherine (1400 Berri street). Program: Rosary of Divine Mercy, adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a light fraternal meal.
